My experience as a furniture dealer started when I was just a child. My parents owned and operated an antique store in Pennsylvania, where I spent endless summer days rummaging through dusty attics and garages in search of unique furniture.
I found it strange that people would store their extra furniture in their garages and attics instead of simply tossing it out. A family might purchase a new kitchen table, but the old table may house the memories of their children eating their first Christmas dinner together. It was then that I realized that every piece of furniture had a history and a story to tell. Furniture doesn’t just fill our homes, it enriches our lives. Eventually, summers started to get shorter as I grew taller and embarked on my journey through life.
I started in the furniture industry in 1986 in the valley of the sun Arizona before moving to Georgia to open up Tucci’s. For many years I have enjoyed bringing families together through furniture. Now, with Tucci’s I can bring the joy of furniture to everyone.

Sarah Cyrus always dreamed of owning her own shop. While working at Atlanta’s Decorative Arts Center (ADAC) she saw a lack of quality resale options catering to design savvy shoppers.
Offering a luxury shopping experience while providing a resource for resale seemed the perfect opportunity to combine Sarah’s love for design and her background in sales.
Sarah Cyrus Home opened in 2014 and won numerous awards in its first year in business. Sarah believes providing a competitively priced inventory and getting the best value back for her consignors is a win-win!
Sarah and her husband Shamim welcomed their first child, Maxwell in 2016. When Sarah is not at the shop she enjoys squeezing in some exercise or roaming her favorite antique shops for inspiration.
60. Cococo Home
Our company originated with an idea borne of necessity. The Founders, Steve & Danielle Sechrest had lost just about everything in the Great Recession including their home and business, but they retained a sense of faith in themselves and the future.
Danielle took a job working for a small furniture company to help make ends meet. When Steve met the owner he asked him if he could try selling his furniture online. The owner told him that was fine, but it would not work. Feeling he had no choice but to try, Steve came up with a name – The Comfortable Couch Company, created a website and went to work. It was slow and hard at first but people started to order and by word of mouth, and the magic of the Internet, the company started to grow.
The original furniture manufacturer went under, and Steve and Danielle brought their friend Gary Mangione in to help them start and run their own upholstery shop. Gary had no background in furniture, but a confidence in his own abilities and a refusal to accept anything less than success.
